Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Well Chosen Stuff (wellchosenstuff.com) collects and how it is used.

What we collect

Nothing you type in. The site has no accounts, comments, newsletter or forms.
No analytics or ad tracking. We don’t use analytics tools or advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies for readers.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and the referring page. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure. They are deleted automatically as they rotate, usually within a few weeks.
Email. If you email us, we keep your address and message only to reply to you.

Google Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. See Google’s privacy policy.
Amazon. Product links go to Amazon.ca. Once you follow a link, Amazon’s privacy notice applies. Amazon and other third parties may provide content on this site, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on visitors’ browsers.
Hosting. The site runs on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States, so server logs are stored there.

You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing admin@wellchosenstuff.com.

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
